Hello! I am Sara.
I founded Simply Our Child in 2022 to solve a problem I saw firsthand: international families relocating to Italy and Italian expat families living abroad lacked cohesive, culturally aware, and scientifically backed educational support.
My work sits at the intersection of human development, language acquisition, and cognitive science. I believe that when we understand how a child’s brain processes the world, we can parent with greater empathy, clarity, and success.

I bring a rigorous academic foundation and a decade of hands-on classroom experience to our consultations:

Academic Foundations: I hold a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Sciences (University of Milan), a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Niccolò Cusano University), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (University of Bologna).

Specialized Training: I am a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher for children using the sensory-rich Hocus & Lotus method.

Diverse Educational Roles: Alongside my private consultancy, I work as an Academic Coach at Crimson Global Academy, guiding high-achieving international students toward ambitious academic goals. I also work as an AI Trainer, training and refining advanced linguistic models in Italian and educational pedagogy.

Special Educational Needs (SEN): My years working as a specialized SEN teacher and early childhood educator mean I excel at designing customized learning tracks for neurodivergent learners and children with unique developmental needs.
